Welcome to the web site of Radnor
Technology Group, Inc. (RTG) In this section, we will
explain our policy regarding any personal information you
might supply to us when you visit this web site. As a
matter of principle, RTG is committed to safeguarding your
personal information obtained through our web site the
same way we protect information obtained through any of
our other delivery channels.
RTG respects your privacy. We are
committed to safeguarding the privacy of information we
may have about you as a customer or visitor to our web
site. RTG recognizes that you may have reasonable
expectations of privacy, and we recognize the importance
of protecting that privacy.
Collection and Use of Customer
Information
RTG collects, uses and retains information about you
through our web site to identify and communicate with you.
We collect and use this information to provide you with
products and services that you initiate; to help us
respond to specific questions that you ask; and to inform
you about other financial services that may be of interest
to you. We may also use this information to comply with
certain laws and regulations that may apply to us, or to
an affiliate, and to help us design or improve our
products and services. As a general policy, RTG does not
automatically collect or store information concerning
visitors to our web site. We will however collect and
store general information such as:
- The name of the domain from which you access the
Internet (for example, msn.com if you are connecting
from the Microsoft Network or aol.com if you are
connecting from America Online).
- The Internet address of the web site from which you
linked directly to our site, if any (for example,
yahoo.com if you find us using the Yahoo search
option.)
- The type of web browsing software you are using to
view our site such as Netscape Communication or
Microsoft Internet Explorer.
- The date and time you access our site.
In other instances you may choose to
provide us additional information about yourself. For
instance, you may request additional information by
submitting us an e-mail or take an online training course.
These applications may require a name, address, and other
personal information from you to respond to your request.
Employee Access to Customer
Information
All RTG employees are required to follow our privacy
policy. This privacy policy provides that employees are
obligated to keep customer information confidential and
never to discuss or disclose such information inside or
outside of RTG unless required to transact proper
consulting business. This obligation continues once an
associate has left our company.
RTG has policies and security
procedures restricting associate access to personal client
information to those associates with a business reason to
know such information. We actively educate our associates
to recognize the importance of client confidentiality and
we may take appropriate disciplinary measures to enforce
employee privacy responsibilities.
Protection of Information via
Established Security Procedures
RTG maintains security standards and procedures to help
prevent unauthorized access to confidential information
about you. We update and test our technology to improve
the protection of our information about you and to assure
the integrity of our information.
Restrictions on Disclosure of
Information
Internal access and sharing of information about you
within various service divisions and affiliates occurs
only to the extent appropriate to evaluate the services
you currently have that are appropriate or to inform you
of other services that may be of interest to you.
Maintaining Customer Privacy
in Business Relationships with Third Parties
From time to time we contract with outside third parties
and other businesses to perform specific services in
support of our products. When it is necessary to provide
confidential client information to a third party, the
businesses and vendors that we select are expected to
adhere to the same privacy standards and applicable laws
and regulations as that of RTG. We require that these
third parties agree to safeguard any information regarding
a RTG client in accordance with our own privacy policies.
Specific Web
Site Information
Browsers
We use strong encryption technology to protect the privacy
of personal information supplied to us.
Cache Storage of Information
Internet browser software typically stores (caches)
information from the web site being visited on the hard
drive of the user. This means that information viewed or
input during a visit to a web site can usually be viewed
again by merely hitting the "BACK" button in
your browser. Some web sites issue a "no-cache"
command to browsers to prevent this temporary storage. To
provide better service to you, our visitor, we do not send
this command to the browser.
To better protect your personal information, you should
clear your cache of information from your computer
periodically. Instructions for clearing this cache are
included on your browser.
Cookies
To provide you better service we may use a
"cookie". A cookie is a small bit of information
given to your browser by a web site, which can later be
retrieved. A cookie is a way for a web site to recognize
whether or not you have visited the site before. The
cookie cannot be read by a web site other than the one
that "set" the cookie. We use cookies for
administrative purposes, such as where we store a
password, or where you are able to customize the
information you see. Recording cookies at such points
makes your online experience easier and faster. Most of
our cookies last only through a single visit. They do not
read your hard drive or contain any information that you
have not already provided. None will contain information
that will enable anyone to contact you via telephone or
e-mail. Your web browser can be set to inform you when
cookies are set or to prevent them from being set.
E-mail
We preserve the content of your e-mail, your e-mail
address and our response so that we can better serve you.
Depending on the content of your e-mail, we may be
required by existing laws and regulations to keep this
information.
If you send e-mail to us,
please remember that e-mail is not secure against
interception. If your e-mail contains information that is
very sensitive or includes personal information, you may
want to send this information via postal mail. |
